Giving should make an impact and when thinking about humanitarian work, it should also be sustainable -- and empowering!

Here's a thought-provoking idea: give strategically this year!  Whether a monthly gift or a gift to honor someone's birthday or anniversary, why not give a gift that will help sustain lives?  Give up one large coffee at your local coffee shop, and buy a grown chicken for an orphan instead!  Get together with colleagues and donate a group of chicks, or ask your company to buy a milk cow.  Huge gestures with HUGE results.  You could honestly save a life of an orphan or the lives of an entire family.

This flock of chicks provides the life-sustaining protein needed to live!  Chicks are easily raised, require little overhead and provide an on-going economic engine to pay school fees, buy needed medicines and have enough to feed the family.

Your gift will go towards providing for 20 baby chickens and a rooster with feed to sustain the gift!.  You can dramatically change the lives of those who struggle to make ends meet!

What better way to meet someone's need than to provide them all the essentials to starting a garden?  Combat hunger in a direct way by giving the gift of food!

Your gift will make a big difference in providing wire fencing, a shovel and hoe with enough heirloom seeds and fertilizer for one season.  Alongside the donation, Project Humanity will train the villagers in basic knowledge of gardening and utilizing heirloom seeds (for next year)!
