August Medical and Educational Project

August 5-15, 2012

Looking for a grand adventure this summer serving others and saving lives?  We have made a five-year commitment to the people of Western Kenya in the areas of women's empowerment, medical access and educational development.

Our July medical and education team will focus on two aspects of this commitment.  First, we will continue our commitment to providing medical care to those in the area where we work with a ten-member medical team.

Second, we will be bringing an educational team to work with the teachers in the area.  Professional development is essential to becoming a great teacher, and we'll focus on presenting learning styles and essentials to helping children learn.

A final part of this team will be bringing lightly used library books to the village.  Learning to read is tough unless you have material to read.

If you love children, have a heart for medical missions or want to be involved in transforming a village, click here for more information!

What an intense and exciting opportunity this is to truly make a difference that will last forever.

Running for Project Humanity

May 10-12, 2012

Once again, twelve amazing runners are gearing up to run 200 miles from Boston to Cape Cod to demonstrate that no mountain is too tall to climb -- by working together, we can accomplish any task.

Project Humanity is committed to bringing sustainable solutions to the overwhelming challenges of HIV/AIDS, of opportunistic diseases, of orphans and of women's empowerment.  We are running this weekend to get the message out that these are bigger-than-life obstacles that can be dealt with and overcome.

If you are running the Ragnar Relay in Arizona this weekend, stop our van and say hi.  We would love to tell you more about how you can get involved in using your talents and training to change the face of HIV/AIDS in Kenya.

If you are an avid runner (or want to join this team), please contact us!  We are so grateful for the synergy of WE CAN!
